About the Artist

As a student at the Academy of Realist Art, I focus on representational artwork in graphite, charcoal, and oil. Rooted in the school’s academic drawing methods and approach to form, my work begins with simple shapes or gesture and is gradually refined in proportion, anatomy, and value through observation from life. I currently work full time in the technology industry, but aim to slowly pivot as my body of work grows, spending more time creating and even sharing what I’ve learned with others.

I am drawn to art that confronts the darker and harder to discuss aspects of the human condition while remaining grounded in strong draftsmanship and believable form. Artists I admire, like Francisco Goya and Zdzisław Beksiński, combine technical expertise with emotional intensity, creating work that feels honest, weighty, and raw rather than decorative or florid. As I develop as an artist, I hope to be able to communicate similarly, speaking from the sum of my own experiences.

I am currently accepting commissions and am available for exhibition opportunities.
